Dark and awkward comedy is my homeostasis. I love exploring the humour in the tragedies of human life, because well…someone has to. In contrast to this, I also love great character-driven drama such as Mad Men, The Wire, True Detective etc. as well as the dark, crime thrillers such as Prisoners and Gone Girl that show the darker side to humanity. I’m thoroughly enjoying writing these styles as well and trying to weave that into my comedy writing to get the best of both worlds.

ABOUT ME

After completing studies in both graphic design and film, I’ve arrived at Screenwriting at RMIT. I’ve directed numerous short films and web series, some of which I have also written and shot as the Director of Photography. I also shoot showreels for actors in a freelance capacity. When I’m not doing anything film-related I enjoy digital painting, singing, playing guitar and watching TV and films.
