At university I wrote and directed a one-act play and loved the whole process, from concept to performance. Now, many years later, I would like to write and produce entertaining programs that appeal to our ageing population, in the vein of ‘Last Tango in Halifax’ and ‘The Time of Our Lives’.

Since graduating from Deakin University, Rusden, I have taught Drama and English in secondary schools in Melbourne, and in primary schools, as well as a short stint in Tokyo teaching English. A love for soft furnishings has given me experience working as a cutter and machinist, and also in retail at Spotlight and Lincraft. I studied acting at the National Theatre in St Kilda and appeared in short films and various tv programs. For a few years I sang and played guitar in bands around Melbourne. Prior to RMIT, I worked in the Aged Care sector.
