I made Paul’s Beautiful Laundrette in 2004 through the Raw Nerve initiative. It was screened at Silver Docs Washington, the Melbourne International Film Festival, the St Kilda Film Festival and it won Love your Work at ACMI.
And then I became a media teacher.
My love of telling stories has drawn me back to full time writing again- and I’m loving it!

PAUL’S BEAUTIFUL LAUNDRETTE
Paul’s sister finally comes to accept and even like her obsessive, homeless brother after filming him around the streets of Melbourne.
I’m a Media teacher. I have also attended a multitude of filmmaking courses at AFTERS, ACMI, Melbourne University and ACMI.
In 2013 I enrolled in the RMIT Screenwriting course. I am a full time writer now.
I have a special love of Australian films, human story TV and features, and Australian children’s film and television.
