I was born in India in August 1992, moved to New Zealand in 1997 and then to Australia in 2011. I decided to pursue a career in show business after I began performing stand-up comedy at 17. Upon moving to Australia, I briefly studied Law before moving to Melbourne to write and perform stand-up comedy.
SLATE/PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT
Currently I am writing and performing Comedy around Melbourne, working on an act for The Melbourne Comedy Festival and potentially one man shows; further down the line. I am also building a media website focussing on sports and entertainment as a writer and commentator. As a comedian, I am continually engaged in and open to projects, writing for sketches, T.V./Web shows or films, or interviewing/appearing as a guest on podcasts, live shows and media shows.
When I moved to New Zealand I could not speak any English; prompting my parents to thrust me into poetry recitals, plays and other performance based activities. I then attended New Plymouth Boys’ High School, during which time I discovered stand-up comedy. I have performed in New Plymouth, Christchurch, Townsville, Cairns and now Melbourne.
